Meet Dr. Michelle Brown


Michelle Brown, DMD, MS

Orthodontics allows Dr. Brown to have a positive impact on others. She enjoys seeing the transition in a patient’s smile and their self-esteem. Giving someone a beautiful smile is a great thing and can be life-altering.

Dr. Brown is committed to providing individualized treatment to help everyone achieve a healthy, beautiful smile. She believes in rendering evidence-based treatment to provide efficient and effective treatment. Dr. Brown strives to build a comfortable and friendly relationship with each patient so they can realize the most exceptional orthodontic experience.

Dr. Brown earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Business Minor at the Pennsylvania State University.  She continued on to dental school at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where she earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Brown completed her orthodontic residency at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry and also earned a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.

Education is an important part of being able to provide the most efficient orthodontic treatment.  Dr. Brown participates in continuing education both as an attendee as well as a speaker to the local dental society, covering topics that have included adult orthodontics and temporary anchorage devices. Dr. Brown has also been involved in the organizational side of continuing education and served as the staff program co-chair for the NESO Providence meeting.

Originally from northern Pennsylvania, Dr. Brown currently lives in Barrington, RI with her husband, Paul Slusarz, a local endodontist. They have two daughters with whom she spends most of her free time. Dr. Brown also loves reading, traveling, and being outdoors.Dr Brown with a patient
