Coronavirus Update

To Our Valued Patients and Families,

We care deeply about your health and well-being. We have been closely following updates on recommendations from the CDC, Board of Health, Governor Baker as well as the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society. The prevailing protocols suggest reducing interpersonal contacts to minimize the virus’ transmission.

The primary means of the virus’ transmission appears to be through entries to the respiratory system, especially the nose and mouth.

Therefore, in light of the COVID-19 / Corona Virus, and following the recommendations given by the Massachusetts Dental Society and the CDC, our office is closing and limiting appointments to only emergencies.

This decision was not arrived at easily but is for the safety of all our patients, our staff and the community to help decrease exposure. We believe this is the responsible thing to do to prevent further spread and minimize the burden on the medical community.

We recognize that we are inconveniencing many patients by cancelling appointments, yet in facing this pandemic, we know that every single day counts in our collective fight against COVID-19. Please rest assured that as soon as we feel the risk has been decreased, we will work diligently to keep our patient’s treatment on track and provide exceptional care for our patient family.

If you have a true orthodontic emergency, we will triage you over the phone to determine if you need to be seen in office. We additionally encourage you to check our website (under the tab "Life with Braces") as well as videos posted on our Facebook page to help.

If you are being seen in our office on an emergency basis, we ask you that you come alone, or if your child is the patient, to have only one parent present to decrease the number of people in the waiting room and encourage social distancing.

Thank you all for your support. We appreciate each and every one of you so much. And thank you for understanding as we try to do our part to “flatten the curve.”

Please keep yourself and families safe during this difficult time.
